About Diana Monkevičiūtė

1992 -2000 graduated from the Kaunas Art Gymnasium, specialty graphics;

2000 - 2004 graduated Vilnius Academy of Arts, the Faculty of Visual and Applied Arts, acquired graphics Bachelor's degree;

2005 - 2006 Vilnius Academy of Arts, Faculty of Visual and Applied Arts book illustration specialty; 3 semesters in Master's studies;

2019 - 2022 joint master's studies at the Lithuanian University of Health Science and Vilnius Academy of Arts, acquired Art therapist specialty;

2024 - present Studying psychotherapy course (cognitive and behavioral therapy) at the Lithuanian University of Health Science;

1998 – present Leading group and individual art education sessions for children and adults in camps, events, and festivals.

2020 – 2022 Art Therapist Practice and Master's Thesis Research: Conducted research titled “Psycho-emotional state changes in adolescents with diabetes through art therapy” at Druskininkai Diabetes Center "Atgaja," working with children and adolescents.

2021 Art Therapist Practice at VŠĮ "Behavior Solutions": Conducted group and individual art therapy sessions for children with autism spectrum disorder.

2020 Art Therapist Practice at LSMU NI Palanga Clinic, Stress Disorders Department: Observed and led group art therapy sessions for clinic patients.

  • At the international conference “ART THERAPY AND PERSONAL HEALTH 2022” organized by the LSMU/VDA Art Therapy program committee made the presentation : “Psycho-emotional state changes in adolescents with diabetes through art therapy.”
